Beach Cafe is an online shop specialising in designer swimwear, kaftans and beach dresses from leading design brands like Melissa Odabash, Seafolly, Devotion, and Juliet Dunn.

Their goal is to provide their customers with a perfect holiday wardrobe, offering a handpicked selection of swimwear, kaftans and beach dresses. Their team is dedicated to ensuring the pre-holiday shopping experience is hassle-free and enjoyed by customers.

Beach Cafe is always committed towards ensuring that customers get the appropriate fit and style for their vacation needs.

Objective

Beach Cafe was facing regular issues with their old Magento system, which mainly revolved around security breaches on a regular basis, frequent updates, and server prices. The platform instability caused customers much frustration, and the regular need for Magento updates was consuming resources. Also, Vulnerabilities were leading to hacks and interruptions, adding more pressure to their ability to run the business seamlessly.

The primary focus was to transition Beach Cafe’s existing site from Magento to Shopify, ensuring there’s no loss in data and functionality. This means the transfer of all designs and information about products and customers in a completely safe manner while also ensuring a well-optimized website user experience. Besides these, the project scope includes improving performance, security, and scaling using a more streamlined and efficient ecommerce platform.
